Dine out to support #ChefsForUkraine

We are less than a week away from the start of the first-ever WCK Restaurant Week! From February 18 through February 24, restaurants across the United States are using the power of food to raise funds for our ongoing work in Ukraine. Participating restaurants will be donating all funds raised directly to our #ChefsForUkraine response, now entering its third year.

There’s still time to join!
If you're behind a restaurant, food truck, catering company, bakery, or beyond and want to join WCK Restaurant Week, reach out to events@wck.org.

Chai Pani is one of the restaurants participating in our Restaurant Week. With locations in Asheville, North Carolina and Decatur, Georgia, the team will donate $1 of every order of vada pav to support Ukrainians in need. The comforting signature dish consists of spicy potato dumplings fried in curried chickpea batter topped with green and tamarind chutney on top of two toasted buns. The restaurant is helmed by WCK Chef Corps member Meherwan Irani.

Chai Pani will donate $1 of every vada pav order sold during WCK Restaurant Week.

WCK served our first meals to Ukrainian families shortly after Russia launched its invasion in February 2022. Since then, we have adapted our approach to ensure newly liberated communities and families living on the frontlines get the support they need. Our teams have provided more than 250 million meals to Ukrainians impacted by the war by developing innovative programs that offer hope to families living through the darkest times imaginable. Efforts like our Seeds of Hope program that empowers people to grow their own food. Watch the video below to see how Larysa uses produce grown from WCK-provided seeds to cook traditional Ukrainian borsch.
Stay tuned for more upcoming events as we mark two years of incredible bravery displayed by WCK Food Fighters across Ukraine.
