We are also providing families with WCK Ramadan boxes with enough food for 55 meals. The meal boxes—filled with essentials like lentils and dates—help families gather for iftar, the evening meal that breaks the fast, and suhoor, the pre-dawn meal before fasting begins, with culturally appropriate, halal food.
Beyond immediate relief, we are also planting seeds for the future—literally. Many Palestinians long to grow their own food again, and WCK is helping to make that possible. We are distributing thousands of seed packets containing vegetables like okra, eggplant, and onion—staples in local cuisine. By supporting small-scale farming and families in displacement camps, we aim to restore not just access to food, but also autonomy and resilience. |
