The exhibition
Viva el arte vivo retrospectively renders an account of the short yet variegated journey of Greco’s life and art, and how his actions were inextricably linked to his own migrant route. It spotlights works made between 1949 and 1965, from his first writings and informalist paintings to his actions and objets vivants, arriving at the novel
Besos brujos (Bewitching Kisses), written shortly before he took his own life.ç
In conjunction with the opening of the show, curator Fernando Davis and Amanda de la Garza, the Museo’s deputy artistic director, will take part in its
Inaugural Conversation on Tuesday, 10 February.
