Help us ensure we can be there with fresh meals for communities around the world. Bring WCK flavors to your home! This year, José and WCK published a cookbook—Feeding Humanity, Feeding Hope. In it, we gather recipes inspired by many of the places our Relief Team has cooked in the aftermath of a disaster. You’ll find holiday favorites that have helped us provide hope and comfort around the world.  Recipes like a New Year’s version of soupe joummou, a hearty pumpkin and meat soup from Haiti, and buñuelos, fried dough balls that mark the start of the holiday season in Guatemala, are guaranteed to be a hit at any feast! Looking for festive adult beverages? Our takes on Puerto Rican coquito and Haitian kremas—creamy rich drinks, usually spiked with rum—are sure to please a crowd (they’re also delicious without booze for kids and nondrinkers!).  And now, The WCK Cookbook is an Anthem Awards finalist! Celebrate with us and help WCK win the first-ever Anthem Community Voice Award. All you need to do is vote for the cookbook here by December 21.  Share the story of WCK through art Feeding Dangerously: On the Ground with José Andrés and World Central Kitchen is a unique opportunity to learn more about WCK and the people we serve in a completely new format. From our efforts after Hurricane María in Puerto Rico to the eruption of the Fuego volcano in Guatemala to our first wildfire response in California, the history and WCK stories included in this graphic novel showcase the resilience we meet in people around the world.  Illustrated by Alberto Ponticelli, Feeding Dangerously provides a look into what fuels José and the WCK Relief Team from one emergency to the next. Author Steve Orlando even joined WCK in response to Category 5 Hurricane Michael in 2018 to understand for himself exactly what it means to bring nourishing meals to communities in crisis.
